Supported Independent Living
Supported Independent Living (SIL) provides individuals with disabilities the opportunity to live as independently as possible while receiving the support they need. SIL services focus on assisting with daily tasks, developing life skills, and fostering a sense of community within a shared or individual living arrangement.
SIL accommodations are designed to offer a safe, comfortable, and inclusive environment, allowing residents to engage in meaningful activities and work toward their personal goals. Support workers assist with tasks such as personal care, cooking, cleaning, budgeting, and social participation, ensuring each resident can thrive in their daily life.
The goal of SIL is to empower individuals by enhancing their independence while providing tailored support that aligns with their unique needs and aspirations. With a structured support system and a focus on personal development, SIL enables individuals to lead fulfilling and self-directed lives.
